Severe traffic congestion has been reported in Ahungalla due to a demonstration in front of the Rajapaksha Maha Vidyalaya, Ada Derana reporter said.
The protest has been staged by the parents due to the failure to fill several teacher vacancies of the school, it was reported.
The police advised drivers to use alternative routes if at all possible.
