Strengthen immigration rules, BBS urges

The government must take immediate steps to intensify immigration rules, Ven Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thero said on Tuesday.
The Thero expressed this view while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo.
Gnanasara Thero underlined that soften immigration rules may pave the way for religious extremists to enter into the country without difficulty.
The Thero also went on to say some of the other countries have already imposed travel bans on several countries and strict rules with respect of immigration and emigration.
