The foremost place of Buddhism should remain unchanged in Sri Lanka, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa says.
The observation was made while he was speaking to reporters at the Galauda Sri Dharma Wijaya Temple.
Rajapaksa pointed out the Buddhism should be given due consideration when drafting the planned new constitution.
