Counterfeit spare part businesses go bust

Thirty stores that had been selling counterfeit vehicle spare parts in the Panchikawatha have had legal action taken against them, police reveal.
The counterfeit parts which had been manufactured in China have been falsely labeled as products from other countries such as Germany and Japan, while some products were sold without a fixed stated price printed on the product and other fraudulent acts.
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce stated that many of the counterfeit items have been taken into custody by officials and will be presented to the Court.
