Three arrested over the illegal transport of beef

Three individuals have been arrested by the Police Special Task Force in Rambewa over the illegal transport of beef in a three wheeler.

 

According to reports, Police Special Task Force officers attached to the Kurusahandiya camp received a tip, upon which they conducted a raid and caught the suspects.

 

152 kg of beef were found in the three wheeler and taken into custody by the Police Special Task Force.

 

The Police Special Task Force stated that the arrested suspects were handed over to the Mihintale Police for further investigations.
