Price of fresh produce cheaper than last year - Dayananda

The Chairman of the Dambulla Dedicated Economic Center, U.R. Dayananda stated that the retail price of goods have seen a larger reduction in price, than last years.
He further added that the number of vegetables sold have decreased, and that farmers have deviated away from growing fresh produce.
Dayananda stated that despite the lower prices, certain retail stores have been selling certain goods at a higher price.
