Entrepreneurs in Japan play key role in South Asian investments - Ranil

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe stated that the private sector in Japan should be partly responsible for the investments aimed at the increasing population in South Asia and the Bay of Bengal.
He further stated that the population size in these areas is said to increase by 250 million in the next 20 years, during a summit attended by over 300 of Japans leading entrepreneurs.
He further added that Sri Lanka is working towards maintaining regional peace and security, and that maintaining security around the Sri Lanka harbor is the sole responsibility of the Sri Lankan Navy.
