Dr. Jagath Wijenayake passes away

UPFA Central Provincial Council member Dr. Jagath Wijenayake has passed away at the age of 60.

The former university lecturer and film producer was admitted to a private hospital in Colombo due to an illness several weeks back and was transferred to the Ragama Hospital on April 12. 

He passed away at the Ragama Hospital last evening (14), according to close relatives. 

The funeral is to be held at the Borella cemetery tomorrow.
