Two arrested over stolen wheat stock

Two individuals linked to the robbing of a stock of wheat, have been arrested.
The stock included 100 bags of wheat, worth Rs. 369000.
Further questioning of the suspects revealed that the stolen stack of wheat had been placed in a ware house in the Kilinochchi area, and the profit of Rs.113000 made by selling the stolen was found by the Omantha Police Department.
The suspects are believed to be residents of the Omantha and Delf areas, and will be presented to the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court.
