Two arrested over the possession of heroin

An individual was arrested in Maradana for possession of heroin.
The arrest was made during a raid conducted based on a tip received by the Law Enforcement Unit of the Colombo Central Division.
5.48 g of heroin were taken into Police custody during the arrest.
The suspect is due to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate Court today (2).
Meanwhile, another individual was arrested for possession of 3.15g of heroin.
The suspect, a 30 year old resident of Peliyagoda, will be produced before the Aluthkade Magistrate Court today (2).
