Tomorrow’s strike is an unjust action – Ranjith Madduma

The strike to be carried out tomorrow (05) by certain trade unions is an unjust action, Minister of Public Administration and Management, Ranjith Madduma Bandara stated.

 

The Minister stated that the trade union representatives had made no attempt to formally discuss their issues with government officials.

 

Various trade unions belonging to the fields of health, transport, teaching, and crude oil have confirmed their support for the strike to be held tomorrow (05), headed by the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA).

 

Assistant Secretary of the GMOA, Dr. Haritha Aluthge stated that government officials had not arranged for any such discussion to address their issues.
