MP Bandula Gunawardane stated that for the first time in the country’s history the Lottery board, Mahapola and Air Lanka will be considered under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Gunawardane made these statements during a media briefing held  today (23), at the Joint Opposition Economic Research Unit.

Bandula stated that the transfer of institutions that were previously considered under the Ministry of Finance shows that the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ravi Karunanayake is changing the system to reap in personal benefits.

He further added that the actions that have followed the cabinet re shuffling will defame the image of the executive presidency.
