Eight districts identified as high risk zones

Eight districts around the country have been recognized as high risks zones, in light of the recent bout of increment weather conditions. 


According to the National Building Research Organization stated that the residents living around the areas that were labeled dangerous yesterday (27), should be on alert, in the next few days to come. 

The identified areas include  :
Ratnapura : Ratnapura, Alapatha, Palmadulla, Kurawitta, Ahaliyagoda, Imbulpei, Ayagama, Kahawatta, Kalawana, Kolonna, Kiriella and Niwithigala have been recognized as dangerous zones. 

Kegalle : Bulathkohupitiya, Daraniyagala, Yatinthota and Dehiowita. 

Galle :  Badegama, Yakkamulla, Neluwa, Niyagama and Nageda.

Kalutara : Bulathsinhala, Agalawatta, Walallawita, Baduraliya

Matara : Kotapola, Pasgoda, Pitabaddara, Mulatiyana

Hambantota: Walasmulla, Katuwana

Kandy: Gangaihalakorale

Nuwaraeliya : Ambagamuwa
