
A date has been set to hear the court case that had been set pertaining to Gnanasara Thero who had allegedly disrupted court proceedings.
Hence the charge sheet that was presented against Gnanasara Thero will be taken up for hearing on the 18, 19 and 20 of July.
The case against Gnanasara Thero was presented by the Homagama Magistrate, Ranga Dissanayake to the Appeal Court, who was present during the hearing of the court case regarding the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda, where court proceedings had been disrupted by the individual charged.
Hence the case will be heard in court today (12).
Furthermore, Ada Derana reporters added that a request made by the State Attorney to approve of a warrant to arrest Gnanasara Thero, was rejected by the Judiciary.
