Russia says airstrike may have killed head of ISIS

Islamic State (ISIS) leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may have been killed in a Russia air strike, Vladimir Putin’s defence ministry has claimed.
TASS news agency claims Russia’s defence ministry is investigating whether it killed the jihadi chief in an air strike in Raqqa.
They said the attack on ISIS’s Syrian stronghold at the end of May could have killed the terrorist leader.
The ministry said the air strike had targeted a meeting of ISIS leaders on May 28 and they believe al-Baghdadi may have been present.
TASS claimed the group were meeting at a command post to discuss the routes for the terrorists’ exit from Raqqa.
There have been a number of previous reports of Baghdadi’s death.
