The day-to-day proceedings in the Northern Province has returned to normalcy following the Hartal campaign launched yesterday.
A Harthal took place in the Northern Province against the no confidence motion submitted against the Chief Minister of the province and stating their support for C.V. Vigneswaran.
Ada Derana reporters revealed that although measures were taken to stage a successful Harthal, the Harthal was not successfully executed in the Vavuniya, Kilinochchi and Mannar districts, however the Harthal was successfully carried out in the Jaffna and Mullaitivu districts in Sri Lanka.
Ada Derana reporters added that the daily proceedings in the Northern Province are continuing as usual, where business have opened their doors to customers.
