The laws with respect to obtaining beer and wine license should be lenient, Finance Minister Mangala Samaraweera proposed on Thursday.
He made the observation while speaking at the Parliament, Ada Derana reporter said.
Samaraweera also added that this is his personal opinion.
Samaraweera said that the government will too take steps to discourage hard liqueur sales in the country.
