36-year-old commits suicide in Mt. Lavinia

An individual in the Mount Lavinia region has committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. 

The incident had occurred at around 8.45 pm last night (7), while the individual had jumped in front of a train travelling to Mount Lavinia from Jaffna. 

The deceased has been identified as a 36-year-old resident of the Boralesgamuwa area. 

Police stated that the body is currently being held at the Kalubowila Hospital for further investigation.
