16-hour water cut in Kalutara tomorrow

Several regions of the Kalutara District will face a 16-hour water cut tomorrow (12), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.

 

Accordingly, water supply will be restricted from 8.00 am tomorrow (12) till 12.00 am the following day.

 

Areas of Kalutara-North, Kalutara-South, Wadduwa, Waskaduwa, Pothupitiya, Moronthuduwa, Katukurunda, Nagoda, Bentota, Payagala, Bombuwala, Maggona, Kaluwamodara, Moragolla, Darga Town, Aluthgama and Pilaminawatte will be affected by the water-cut.

 

According to the NWSDB, the water supply will thus be obstructed in order to complete an essential repair of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
