Individual dies at BIA; cause of death yet to be inferred

An individual has reportedly died at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in the early hours of today (02).
The Ada Derana airport correspondent reported that the individual had died at approximately 6.00 am.
The deceased had arrived in Sri Lanka from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, aboard the aircraft bearing the number UL 282, at approximately 4.20 am.
He is said to be a Sri Lankan who is a resident of Theldeniya.
The airport correspondent stated that the cause of death was yet to be inferred, and added that Airport Police were conducting further investigations into the incident.
