Former President, Mahinda Rajapakse stated that the current government has amended the legislation which prevented local assets within the country from being sold to foreign investors.
Furthermore, he added that the government has already taken steps to sell land within the country to foreign investors.
The sentiments were brought out during a ceremony held in Mount Lavinia.
