Police report that there is an unexpected traffic congestion at Peliyagoda along the Colombo-Kandy road.
The congestion had arisen as a result of the falling of a signboard across the Kelaniya Bridge.
It has been reported that a subsequent accident had occurred due to the collision of a container truck with the collapsed signboard.
