Date to be set for debate over no confidence motion against Ravi - Dinesh

The date on which the motion of no confidence proposed against the Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake will be decided on Tuesday (08).  
 
MP Dinesh Gunewardena stated that a date will be set for the debate, during the next party leaders meeting which will be held on Tuesday, under the guidance of Speaker Karu Jayasooriya.

 

Meanwhile, former President Mahinda Rajapakse stated that he supports the passing of the motion of no confidence proposed against Ravi Karunanayake, and added that the comments made regarding him abstaining from the voting procedure are false.
