Suspect in possession of narcotics apprehended in Orugodawaththe

A suspect in possession of a large amount of illegal substances was taken into custody near the Orugodawaththe fly-over.  

 

The police stated that they were able to make the arrest based on intelligence provided by the Colombo North Law enforcement unit.

 

The suspect who was in possession of 20Kg of Marijuana and 200 Tramadol pills was reported to be a resident in the Colombo 10 area who is 30 years of age.

 

The Grand Pass Police unit has stated that detained suspect is scheduled to appear in front of the Maligakanda magistrate court today. (9)
