Person critical following knife attack in Kilinochchi

A person has been hospitalised after reportedly being stabbed multiple times in the Konavil area in Kilinochchi this morning (27).
Kilinochchi Police said that a person standing near a bus stop in Konavil was attacked by a suspect wielding a sharp object and who had arrived in a tractor.
The victim, a 53-year-old father of four from Kilinochchi, was admitted to the Kilinochchi Hospital in critical condition following the incident.
An investigation has been launched to arrest the suspect who carried out the attack, which is suspected to have been motivated by a personal dispute.
