The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has taken into custody the voice recording system in the ‘dealing room’ at Perpetual Treasuries Limited.

The voice recording system is used to record the phone calls made at the company’s dealing room.

Meanwhile the Attorney general’s Department has requested permission from the Presidential Commission of Inquiry, probing the issuance of treasury bonds, to also take custody of the computer and  voice recording system previously used by the company.
