Police apprehend drug smugglers in Wanathawilluwa

Police officers of the Wanathawilluwa Police station captures 3 individuals in possession of 39,700 illicit drugs and abortion pills in Wanathawilluwa.
Reports confirm that the operatives were able to successfully apprehend the three drug smugglers through intelligence received on August 30, at 10,30pm.
Accordingly, the Policemen were able to arrest the three suspects while they were loading the illegal drugs into a van after transporting the drugs across a water body on a boat.
The three suspects aged 41,38 and 35 who are all residents of Meegamuwa, are to be produced in front of the Puttalam Magistrate court today (1).
