Water cut in several areas due to pipeline burst

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water supply to several areas including Maharagama, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Homagama and Padukka has been temporarily suspended due to a pipeline bursting.
The water cut has been imposed in Maharagama, Moralesgamuwa, Kottawa, Pannipitiya, Rukmalgama, Pelenawatta, Mattegoda, Homagama, Meepe and Padukka areas.
The water board said that it regrets the inconvenience caused to consumers by this, however urged for the people in those areas to use water sparingly till the water supply returns to normal.
