Sarath Fonseka should be sacked - Dinesh

The Leader of the Joint Opposition MP Dinesh Gunawardena says that according to Article 09 of the Sri Lankan Constitution with regard to challenging the Buddha Sasana and the Maha Sangha, Fieild Marshal Sarath Finseka should be removed from his ministerial portfolio.  

 

Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thero on Saturday (9), the former minister said that they will make the masses take a stand for this purpose. 

 

Fonseka had recently made certain remarks regarding Ven. Elle Gunawansa Thero after the latter had criticized him for making a statement regarding alleged war crimes.
