I was gravely disrespected by UNP Youth Front – Joseph Micheal Perera

Former parliamentarian Jospeh Micheal Perera stated that he faced a grave injustice during the meeting of the UNP Youth Front in Gampaha yesterday (23).

An apprehensive series of events ensued during a gathering of the UNP youth front in Gampaha yesterday, when Joseph Micheal Perera was denied an opportunity to speak to the gathering after being invited for the event.

The former parliamentarian attended the event upon the invitation of the President of the UNP Youth Front Kavinda Jayawardene. It was reported that Mr.Perera was extremely disgruntled as MP Ravi Karunanayake was granted the opportunity to address the gathering and he was not.

Joseph Micheal Perera stated that as a senior member of the UNP, he was extremely disrespected by Ravi Karunanayake and the organizing committee of the event yesterday (23).
