Residents in close proximity to rivers advised to be cautious

The Disaster Management Centre has issued a statement warning all residents on either side of rivers to be cautious of flash floods that may arise due to prolonged rainfall. 

 

Deputy Director of the DMC Pradeep Kodippili stated that the current incessant rainfall has caused the water level of the Kalu Ganga to rise dramatically. 

 

It was also reported that the DMC predicts a slight drop in rainfall levels after today (28).
