Aava gang members ransack shop in Kokkuwil

Police officials from Jaffna confirmed that a group of activists from the Aava group who were armed with swords had vandalized a shop at Kokkuwil in Jaffna.

A contingent of 8 gang members brandishing swords arrived at the scene yesterday (2), on motorcycles to tear down the stall that was situated near the Kokkuwil junction. 

Police sources have reported that no persons were damaged during the attack.
