Ministers Malik Samarawickrama and Kabir Hashim arrived at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry investigating the treasury bond a short while ago.
The Ministers were summoned to appear before the Commission today (11).
The Centre for Human Rights (CHR) has recently stated that State Enterprises Development Minister Kabir Hashim, who was the minister in charge of state banks at the time, and Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama, who is alleged to have participated in the first discussion with regard to the issuance of Central Bank treasury bonds in 2015, should also be summoned to testify before the commission.
