Prolonged rainfall may cause landslides in Galle - DMC

The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) stated that, should rains continue at 100-150mm for the next 24 hours, landslides may occur in the surrounding areas of Galle extending up to the Neluwa divisional Secretariat region. 

All residents of Galle have been warned to be vigilant of potential landslides that may be caused by excessive rainfall.
