Govt has no intention of creating religious disharmony – Thalatha

Minister of Justice Thalatha Atukorale stated that the government headed by President Maithripala Sirisena has no intention of establishing political power through the destruction of religious and ethnic harmony within Sri Lanka.

 

The Minister of Justice expressed these sentiments while addressing at the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council. 

 

She further stated that it is the duty of all parliamentarians to ensure that a culture of religious disharmony and discrimination is not fostered within the hearts of the people.
