An Israeli national who was illegally residing in Sri Lanka without an approved VISA was detained in Weerawila by Police officials today (27).
Reports confirm that the 31-year old was found in Weliwatte by officials of the Weerawila Police.
The Israeli national is due to be produced before the Tissamaharama Magistrate’s court during the course of the day.
