A special bilateral discussion was held between Indonesian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Gusti Ngurah Ardiyasa and State Defense Minister Ruwan Wijewardene last evening (14).
During the discussion key attention was given to develop cooperation between the Indonesian Defense University and the Kotelawala Defense University (KDU) of Sri Lanka.
The two parties came into a basic agreement on expanding the relationships between Indonesian Army Staff and Command College and Defence Services Command and Staff College,Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, matters relating to defense and economic cooperation between the Indonesia and Sri Lanka have also been discussed.
The Indonesian Ambassador was presented with a commemorative monument by Minister Ruwan Wijewardene at the conclusion of the discussion.
A special delegation comprising The Vice-Chancellor of Indonesian Army Staff and Command College participated in the discussion.
