Signal failure delays trains from Maradana and Fort

The Railway Control Room says that all trains commencing from Maradana and Colombo Fort railway stations will be delayed due to a signal failure. 

 

The signal failure has been reported between the Fort and Maradana railway stations while necessary steps are being taken restore train services back to normal as soon as possible, the CGR said. 

 

The trains delays have reportedly greatly inconvenienced commuters especially those looking to get back home after work.
