SLFP has no desire to postpone elections – Nimal Siripala

Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva stated that no SLFP party member submitted petitions before the judiciary with an ambition to postpone the Local Government elections. 

 

He further stated that he too will appear before the Courts of Appeal during the hearing of the petition filed against the Gazette on Local Government delimitation on November 22. 

 

The Minister of Transport made these statements following an event held in Badulla yesterday (20).
