Former Kegalle PS Chairman joins UNP

Former Chairman of the Kegalle Pradeshiya Sabha, D.M. Upali Dissanayake, has obtained United National Party (UNP) membership.

He is the Kegalle Organiser of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP), the new party formed by supporters of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa. 

 Dissanayake joined the UNP after meeting with party leader PM Ranil Wickremesinghe today (11), UNP general secretary Kabir Hashim told Ada Derana.
