Emanuel Arnold resigns to contest for Jaffna Municipal Council post

Tamil National Alliance member Emmanuel Arnold resigned from his position within the Northern Provincial Council to contest as a candidate for the Jaffna Municipal Council at the upcoming Local Government election.
Reports confirm that Emanuel Arnold handed over his letter of resignation to Northern Provincial Council Chairman C.V.K. Sivagnanam earlier today (19).
The Chairman of the Northern Provincial Council stated that the request made by Emanuel Arnold has been accepted.
