CEA reintroduces ban on polythene

The Central Environmental Authority (CEA) banned the usage and production of lunch sheets and other forms of non-biodegradable polythene starting today (1).
A ban on polythene was initially introduced on September 01, 2017 but the government decided to provide consumers and producers a grace period of three months.
The CEA however stated that the ban on polythene will be enforced for the new year with regulated checks being conducted.
