A suspect in possession of a large consignment of narcotics was detained at Vipulasena mawatha in Maradana earlier today (17).
The arrest was made following an operation conducted by the Police Narcotics Bureau.
608 illicit hallucinogens were confiscated at the time of arrest. The suspect has been identified as a 30 year old resident of Maligawatte.
