Excavations at Sampur Dagaba commences

Excavations at Sampur Dagaba commences

The excavation activities of the Sampur Dagaba will commence today, said the Department of Archaeology.

Acting Director Prof. P.B. Mandawala said that a team of seven had been deployed for this purpose.

Accordingly, it is expected to comeplete the excavation work within a period of one month, Mandawala said.
