Lotus Road temporarily closed owing to protest by govt. surveyors

UPDATE (1.20pm) - Galle Road has been closed for traffic from Kollupitiya Junction towards Pettah, due to a protest by employees of the Survey Department, Ada Derana reporter said. 


Lotus Road in Colombo has been temporarily closed due to a protest by employees of the Government Survey Department.

The Government Surveyors’ Association staged a protest in front of Colombo- Fort Railway Station today (16) demanding the President to abolish the decision taken to hand over the Department to a foreign firm.
