A government which fails to avoid the rupee depreciation cannot decrease the price of essential commodities, parliamentarian Bandula Gunawardane said.
He made this statement today (29) while addressing media after a ceremony which was held in Homagama.
Speaking further, Gunawardane said the government will also fail to avoid the increase of petrol, gas and milk powder prices.
