6 spill gates of Daduru Oya opened; public warned

Puttalam Disaster Management Center (DMC) stated that 6 spill gates of the Daduru Oya have been opened by one foot each.
The residents of the low lying areas –especially areas under Chilaw, Arachchikattuwa, and Pallama Divisional Secretaries – are advised to remain on alert, the Disaster Management Center said.
