If the Provincial Council election is not held according to the old system, a presidential election should be held next year, says Minister of National Integration, Reconciliation and Official Languages Mano Ganesan.
He points out that attempting to hold a provincial council election in a new method will only further postpone the election.
He stated these at an event held in Colombo.
