Female injured in shooting at Jampettah Street

UPDATE (9.30 pm): A 58 year old male and a 50 year old female have died on admission in the Jampettah Street shooting incident.

 

Two other males have been injured in the shooting and are currently receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital, reports Police Media Spokesperson.

 

The shooting had occurred at around 8.15 pm today (08) at Selviyawatta on Jampettah Street.

 

The deceased have been identified as 58 year old named Selvaiyah Selvaraj and a 50 year old named Elizabet Perera, according to the police.

 

Coastal Police are conducting further investigations.

 

 

 

 

A female has been injured in a shooting incident occurred at Jampettah Street in Colombo, stated the Police Media Spokesperson.

 

Reportedly, the injured female has been hospitalized for treatment.
