Our goal is to build a SLFP government in 2020 – SLFP General Secretary

General Secretary of SLFP Prof. Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa says that the goal of their party is to establish an SLFP led government by 2020.
He stated this responding to questions raised by media following an event at the party headquarters.
According to him, President Maithripala Sirisena has stated at the All Island Central Committee meeting that, the public only rejected UNP at the recent election, and not SLFP.
He further said that work is underway to rebuild the party.
